Every session will be led by one of our certified personal trainers; they are able to fully customise your experience specifically catering to your needs and current fitness level. Our sessions will include a verbal update to discuss progress, reassess goals and adjust focus where necessary. Your Personal Trainer will provide a written program and training record for each session. Further to this, each client will have full access to their own Online software package (see Client Progress Area in side bar) to review all their stored data regarding exercise, nutrition and measurements.

Clients also receive reward points to be added to their points card for each purchased session. Points can be redeemed for additional sessions or treatments in the affiliated Bodybarn.com Salon.

Solutions & Pricing

Initial Consultation

Your initial consultation is free and lasts between 45 – 60 minutes where we discuss a range of topics to determine your suitability to work with the Bodybarn and includes a tour of the facility.

Kick-Start Consultation

Your Kick-Start Consultation lasting up to 90 minutes is designed to get more indepth information including all measurement data, a ‘before’ photograph and an introduction to resistance training techniques. This gives us a starting point from which to base progress and gain tangible results. Future measurements are recorded periodically depending on the type of wellness program you are following.

One 90 Minute Session: £50

One-on-One

Our One-on-One Personal Training are fully customised workouts based only on your goals and current fitness level. All sessions take place in the private personal training studio. The full hour allows your trainer to give you a well-rounded workout targeting total body and addressing specific needs. These one on one personal training sessions include strength training, cardiovascular interval training, balance and flexibility training. Whether you are new to personal training and exercise, or an exercise veteran, one on one personal training will always leave you with a well-rounded, effective and fun workout!

Sports Conditioning

BodyBarn Health & Fitness can combine personal training with exercise solutions to help athletes reach their goals whether it be a competitive rugby player or recreational skier. Although injuries cannot always be avoided, training the body in functional sport specific patterns can allow the body to develop neuromuscular control in any given movement.

Cardiovascular
Endurance
The heart’s ability to deliver blood to working muscles; the ability of the muscles to use the blood delivered by the heart.
Strength The extent to which muscles exert force by contracting against resistance.
Flexibility The ability to achieve an extended range of motion without being impeded by excess tissue, i.e. fat or muscle.
Speed The ability to move efficiently and quickly without wasted movement or effort.
Power The combination of speed and strength; the ability to exert maximum muscular contraction instantly in an explosive burst of movement (plyometics).
Agility The ability to perform a series of explosive power movements in rapid succession in opposing directions.
Balance The ability to control the body’s position, either stationary (e.g. a trackstand) or while moving (skiing, snowboarding, cornering on a bicycle at speed).
Strength Endurance A muscle’s ability to perform a maximum contracture time after time (relentless hill climbs).
Coordination The ability to integrate the above listed components so that effective movements are achieved using the correct combinations of muscles in the correct order.
